Half Square Triangles, or HST, are common elements of quilts.  Love 'em or hate 'em, you'll likely meet them in patterns.  If you're looking for a quicker way of making them, or don't want to have identical HST in you quilt, learn a breakthrough method of making half square triangles!  It's genius!


Skill Level: Beginner
Requirements: "Oompah!" book, Ten to twelve squares from different fabrics, all cut the same size (anywhere from 3" and 6"). Half your sqaures should be light, half medium/dark. Working sewing machine with a plain or 1/4" foot, Clearly Perfect Angle (optional), rotary cutter and ruler to trim HST (Bloc-Loc works great)All products available at Quilter's JEM.
