Machine Quilting on Your Home Machine

Materials needed for this class include a sewing machine with a darning foot (this is an open-toed foot; not a walking foot), 3 fat-quarter sized quilt "sandwiches" consisting of fabric and cotton batting (such as Warm and Natural), a few quilt-basting curved safety pins, and good quality thread that contrasts with your fabric.  (Batting scraps can also be used for these practice "quilt sandwiches".)
