News from Quilter's JEM for the week of 6/12/19
1525 Central Ave NW / East Grand Forks MN 56721 / (218) 399-0159 / www.quiltersjem.com
I have a couple new things to tell you about! We have the 17" square felted wool pressing mats now available - these are terrific for pressing blocks and getting those seams as flat as can be!
We have more Tilda books, including Hot Chocolate Sewing, Tilda's Studio, Sunshine Sewing, Seasonal Ideas Collection, and Homemade & Happy! Each one is full of projects from quilts to softies, small household items to whimsical gifts. Just browsing through these books will cheer you up and spark your sewing mojo!
Our new Halloween kit is here! I know, Halloween seems like a long way off right now, but that makes this the perfect time to start a Halloween project!
The JEM of the Week
is our All Star Bundle featuring Tula Pink dots and stripes and matching grunges, five 1yd cuts! If these colors make your heart sing, this is a great time to pick up this set of coordinates! Usually this bundle is $55.00, but this week it is $49.50!Why take a class at Quilter's JEM?
I also want to say a few words about our classes and our amazing teachers. Because I have a "backstage view" I can tell you that our teachers work hard to make and master the projects they teach, they try things different ways to figure out the tips and tricks that will help you make it best the first try, and they put a lot of heart into their preparations for every class. So, what are the reasons for you to take a class at Quilter's JEM? * knowledgeable instruction!
* tips and tricks!
* camaraderie with other quilters!
* 15% class day discount!
* try something new (zippers? English paper piecing? embroidery?) in an encouraging & helpful environment!
* make something you always meant to make but keep forgetting to squeeze in!
* get to know your LQS (Local Quilt Store) family!
That last one is important to us, because we want to get to know you, too! We enjoy learning your name and what types of fabrics and projects you like, seeing friends that you come shopping with, and hearing about your latest project. Quilter's JEM Summer Trivia!
And because we want you to get to know us, this summer we'll be asking you a Quilter's JEM trivia question each week this summer. Come in with your answer - closest answer wins a $5 gift certificate; if there are multiple correct answers we will draw a winner! Here is our first question:What is the cumulative number of years of sewing and quilting experience for all Quilter's JEM employees?
