Hello Friends!

The Valley Shop Hop continues through Saturday, September 14! We have had so much fun seeing everyone that's come in for the hop, and hope to see many more of you before it is finished! Visit all seven participating shops, get your passport validated at each one, and receive a bundle of FQs at your final stop! Participating shops include:
Quilter's JEM, East Grand Forks MN
Embroidery Plus Quilt Shop, Grafton ND
Gail's Flutter By Quilt Shop, Mayville ND
Mary's Quilt Market, Arthur ND
The Quilted Ladybug, Moorhead MN
Rae-Bon Sew & Quilt Shop, Fargo ND
Sew On & Sew North, Langdon ND
When you start your passport, you'll receive a copy of the pattern Sock It to Me. Pictured below is our version - kits available!

We have two really great classes coming up - the first Pincushion Party, with the chance to make an adorable fall pincusion, all materials supplied, and the Jelly Roll Lone Star, a chance to learn a great technique for a classic pattern. So many of us have a Lone Star on our bucket list - now is your chance! Scroll down for class details, and stop in to see the samples!

We have Lori Holt's new book, Farm Girl Vintage 2! So many cute blocks, in a variety of sizes and dimensions, too! Just like the original book, there are classic quilt blocks and pictorial blocks, like that Friendly Goat Block with the chick perched on his back! Various kinds of projects are featured in the back of the book, too.

Two bolts from Neddy's Meadow:

Four bolts from Jane Sassman's new line:

Did you know that many of our finished sample quilts are for sale, too, once all their kits have sold? If you see one you are interested in, ask us about it!

I want to take a little extra time here to talk about the Tula Pink Bernina 770,

a machine Tula herself calls "the unicorn of sewing machines"! It has all the sewing prowess and incredible features you expect from a Bernina, plus extras that make this one special. Things like the set of Tula Pink hardware that comes with it

the decorative stitches designed by Tula

and embroidery patterns that feature Tula Pink motifs, classic to recent, multi-color to single color. Here's a small sample:

The machine comes with many more features and special gifts, too!

Now maybe you are thinking, "But I'm a *quilter* - what do I want with embroidery modules?" Here's one idea of how embroidery can enhance a quilt - use meaningful words or images as part of the design of your quilt, and not just on a label!

If you are looking for a good starter set of quilting rulers, Bernina has you covered!
