News from Quilter's JEM for the week of 4/24/2020

1525 Central Ave NW / East Grand Forks MN 56721 / (218) 399-0159 / www.quiltersjem.com
Hello Friends!

It feels as if spring has finally sprung!  The sunshine feels amazing!

The Foxfire Chromaview Quilt Kit makes me hope that my garden will resemble the beautiful flowers in this fabric.  One thing for sure, the flowers in this quilt kit will last a lot longer than the flowers in my garden!

When all this craziness began, I started working on the Flower Delivery Cultivate Kindness Quilt Kit sample for the store.  The kit and sample have been cut and labeled, below are a few completed blocks for the sample.  The kit features vintage trucks filled with flowers.  See a theme here!  Why have I gotten little done when I should have nothing but time on my hands, you ask...

Well.....the answer is mask making!  Just a few of the masks I completed this week with many more to go!  Pattern has a nice filter pocket for a removable filter by lorrienunemaker.com.

Bernette sewing machines remain on sale at 20% off MSRP.  We have a few left in stock.  You can also order online at www.berninausa.com.  When searching for a dealer, you will have to put in our East Grand Forks zip code, 56721, in order to choose Quilter's JEM as your dealer.

During our Shelter in Place:
1.  Sewing Machine Repair:  Even though we are not technically open, we have been taking in sewing machines for repair to help aid in the mask making effort.
2.  In Store Shopping:  I have begun to let one person at a time, preferably with a mask on, in the store.  Many of you have worked through your stash, and are looking for new fabrics (especially for masks).
3.  Longarm Quilting:  I have also started a list for longarm quilting.  If you have completed quilt tops that you need by a certain date, please put your name on the list.

We continue to fill Web Orders and do Curbside Pickup!

Here at Quilter's JEM, our main concern is that all of you stay safe and well.
We will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, April 25th.

Happy Sewing
Kim
