News from Quilter's JEM for the week of 10/1/20

1525 Central Ave NW / East Grand Forks MN 56721 / (218) 399-0159 / www.quiltersjem.com
Hello Friends!

Fall has arrived, as all the bright-leaved trees are busy announcing! As we round the bend into October, you might think about making yourself a Halloween mask - we have great Halloween fabric ranging from the cute to the spooky, elegant to casual, as well as several pumpkin prints and fall florals to take you into the Thanksgiving season!

Because we are quickly moving into wool & flannel time, I wanted to show you some of the coziest corners of the shop these days, where all the new wool & flannel live.

We have shelves full of Woolies Flannel, plus lots of NEW precuts!

Woolies Flannel strip rolls are perfect for projects like the Over and Down Under pattern!

We also have all our wool, wool kits, and perle cotton together for easy browsing. If you've never worked with wool before, ask one of us to tell you about it!

If you aren't quite ready to let go of bright colors and summer blooms, we totally understand. And so does the Fleur line from Riley Blake - we have 10" squares and rolls of 2.5" strips!

Are you looking for a project that makes for quick and simple sewing without having to worry too much about getting corners perfect?  Foundation paper piecing is a good fit!

The foundation papers mean your points and corners will come out perfect without you having to fret about it!

We are restocked on log cabin and pineapple papers, and now there are also economy blocks in 6" and 12"!

Retired Sample Sale! 40% off our finished, retired samples! Did you know that Quilter's JEM staff not only sew all our beautiful samples, but also design many of our patterns? We have lots of great quilts that are ready to find a home (and that would make great Christmas gifts!).

Bernina News!
The new Bernina 790 E Plus Special Edition machines are on order, they are gorgeous, and they are packed with features you will use over and over! Plus, free gifts!

Whatnots are coming!
Kim Diehl's 10th Whatnots club, using her new collection Gratitude and Grace, will be starting in January 2021! And, yes, Pam will be leading our Whatnots group! We are taking sign ups and here are the fabrics and projects to tempt you!

Plus, this year Kim Diehl is also doing a Block of the Month! This program will also be starting in January 2021, and we are  taking sign ups for this program, too!  Spots are limited!

Classes
The other exciting news is that we are now offering a few classes. To sew together safely, each class is limited to a maximum of 4 people (2 minimum). Any class that has a Group 1, 2, 3, etc means that the instructor is running an additional section.  Call 218-399-0159 to register for classes.

Classes are filling fast, but we are adding sessions as needed, and you can ask to be put on the waitlist. Call the shop, 218-399-0159, to get on a waitlist for additional sessions being offered for full classes.
