October Musings

October is upon us which means the holidays are right around the corner. Are you ready? Have no fear, we've got you covered! Stop in the shop to peruse the latest fabric collections, new kits for a variety of bags, potholders, pillowcases, whole cloth quilts, and more! Featured here is the new Sew Fancy line by Art Gallery Fabrics. Stop in the store to check it out!

In all seriousness, it seems as if October keeps coming around faster each year. It always makes me pause, a gentle nudge to be grateful for another beautiful summer and fall; all while looking forward to the blessings of another holiday season ahead. Let's not get caught up in the rush of the season, but be inspired by it to slow down, let go of what is no longer needed, and cozy on in to those dearest to us.

Mystery Quilt-A-Long
You won't want to miss this! Starting in November, Quilter's JEM is hosting a 10-month, mystery quilt-a-long. Each month, members will work through two blocks from the Sister Sampler Quilts book, along with receiving a literary chapter of a companion story to the blocks. At the end of the quilt-a-long, we'll celebrate together at the shop and see what we've all created!

We will have kits available at the shop and at our Quilts on the Red booth. Be sure to stop in to see fabric requirements. More details to come!

Learn to make a cork covered journal. We have a variety of cork to choose from and gather inspiration to make multiple journal covers!

Mondo Bag Class

Wednesday, November 1: 1:00 - 5:00pm

Wednesday, November 8: 1:00 - 5:00pm

**Both sessions required to complete project.

You can choose between two different size bags. One Jelly roll can make 3 bags; can be used with charm packs or yardage. All cutting needs to be done before class begins.
