January Musings

The first few weeks of the year have proven to be a bit slow moving. Don't worry, I'm not complaining, as I needed this reset from the hustle and bustle of the holidays. I am grateful for extra time with our family in Arizona, complete with baby snuggles and extra sunlight for working on some good quilting projects!

Jack's Chain Starts Tomorrow!

Connie's 4th Saturday Class starts tomorrow, Saturday 25 at 10:30am. This is a six-month class with most work done outside of class time, but Connie will be available to answer questions and guide you through the process. There is still plenty of room to join!

Fourth Saturday with Connie: Jack's Chain

Connie is back teaching this beautiful and intricate Jack's Chain design. This design is made using a center hexagon, six equilateral (60 degree) triangles and simple 9 patch blocks. This is an ongoing class meeting once a month for six months.

Wednesday, January 29 & February 12: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Sign up for this modern take on the Double Wedding Ring design with the original Quick Curve Ruler by Sew Kind of Wonderful. This class will be over two full days of sew time starting January 29.

Mastering Your Stripology Rulers

Saturday, January 4: 9:00am - 4:00pm

**Master Stripologist Jennifer Halbur will walk you through the creation of this beautiful Back Home table topper.

Needed for the class: Any Stripology Rulers you have, cutting mat, the Master Your Stripology Ruler book (or purchase one before the class).

Fabric requirements:

7 - 10x10 squares, 1 yard background, 1 yard backing, 1/3 yard binding.

Kit available at store. 

Mondo Bag

Intro Class: Wednesday, March 26 from 1:00-3:00pm

Class Dates: Wednesday, April 2 & 9 from 1:00-5:00pm

**Two sewing class sessions needed to complete this project. Intro class is no sewing, but fabric pulls and gathering notions.
