August Happenings A ton of information is jam-packed into the newsletter this week, so be sure to read all the way to the end! As we near the Quilts on the Red Quilt Show, coming October 17-18, I encourage those of you who participated in the Sister Sampler Sew-A-Long to enter your quilts into the show! I would love to see a huge section of the show dedicated to Sister Sampler! As we saw, the vast differences in color and layout made a beautiful display of artistry and participation. |

Art Quilts with Amy Munson Amy Munson, lecturer at the Quilts on the Red, will be hosting a class at Quilter's JEM Sunday, October 18. There will be two sessions; registration is for both sessions. Morning session is Fabric Collage Zipper Case. The afternoon session is Home Sweet Home Fabric Collage. Registration is payable to the North Star Quilters Guild or NSQG.
