August Happenings

We have so many wonderful things happening at the shop, be sure to read through as many classes, kits, and new fabrics have dropped!

Good news! The next issue of The JEM Magzine is on its way! This issue will showcase three new patterns from designSTORM. Copies will be available in store and subscriptions are still available. 

Back by popular demand, Connie will be starting up another round of Beginning Quilting 101 and 4th Saturday in September. Stay tuned for which project she will be leading!

A gentle reminder that if you have registered for any classes and have not paid, your spot is not reserved. Spaces are filling fast and we want to make sure you can join us!

Elemental Coat Class

You won't want to miss out on this awesome class! The Elemental Coat class will be happening Thursday, August 20 at University Lutheran Church from 9:00am-6:00pm. 

The Elemental Coat is a quilt coat designed for quilters! This is a loose-fitting coat with options for full-length, mid-length, and cropped length, as well as 3/4 or full-length sleeves, adding a hood or collar, and adding a button loop or zipper closure. 

So grab an old quilt (like Pam) or make one specifially to cut up (like Kathryn) and let's make some magic!

Six Pack Party

We’re excited to share our upcoming Six-Pack Party featuring Spilled Salt — a 45”x60” quilt that turns simple piecing into beautiful color movement. Spilled Salt uses six half-yard cuts arranged in an easy 6, 3+3, or 2+2+2 recipe — high contrast shades and colors — creating a flowing, 4-X or pinwheel–inspired design that’s both easy to sew and fun to finish.
